Mur Wi̽ Ner (/mur/ /wi̽/ [thin (slender); slim] [nation]) is a subtropical Town located in Fëstve̜chyo̠kok Parish, Moko̠ë Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Mur Wi̽ Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Mur Wi̽ Ner was founded by Trèlkênm Shreemedo, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Overview

Mur Wi̽ Ner was founded durring the late 19th century in early summer of the year 1798, by Trèlkênm Shreemedo. The establishment of Mur Wi̽ Ner was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Mur Wi̽ Ner's construction back out of the project. Trèlkênm Shreemedo pushed on reguardles, and Mur Wi̽ Ner was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Mur Wi̽ Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 19th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mur Wi̽ Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Mur Wi̽ Ner is buildings are speckled and packed arround spacious paverstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Mur Wi̽ Ner weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. Astonishigly, the budget focused millitary grade defenses are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Mur Wi̽ Ner has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Mur Wi̽ Ner’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the town has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

Cultural Notes

The locals are in a state of despair and dull apathy. They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Mur Wi̽ Ner's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.
